Standard Schnauzers are, of course, the perfect dog for Barn Hunt! After all, the breed was developed to control vermin in barns and around the farm! Many PVSSCers take part in this fun sport, with great success, and the club has held a number of Barn Hunt trials over the years.
However, many new PVSSC members would like to “dip their toe” into Barn Hunt and are not sure where to start. Others have been competing, but have hit a snag with one or another issue – such as indication or tunneling – or could use handling advice.
Now is your chance! Scott Minke, Barn Hunt judge and competitor (and a PVSSC member) will hold a BH Clinic on October 7!
