Members of CNC and PVSSC will have first preference for attending the seminar and a special discount rate. The seminar is limited to 25 dog/handler teams and 30 audit observers.

The slots shall be filled as follows –

12 dog/handler slots allotted to each club (1 “wild card” will be allotted at random)
15 audit/observer slots allotted to each club

CNC/PVSSC entries will be accepted for preferential status by mail only and with a postmark not prior to November 29. Entries postmarked prior to November 29 from club members will be considered with the general public entries.

The 25 available dog/handler and audit/observer slots will be filled in the following manner: On December 6, all entries with a November 29 postmark will be assigned to available slots. If the number of entries per club with a November 29 postmark exceeds 12, a drawing will take place to determine who gets the dog/handler spaces and who is placed on the alternate list or offered an audit slot. Audit spots will be offered first to any overflow of dog/handler teams prior to assigning individuals requesting audit only slots.

If the number of entries with a November 29 postmark does not exceed 12 per club, the entries with November 29 postmarks will be assigned the available spots and so forth until all available slots are filled.

On December 9, all slots not preferentially filled by CNC/PVSSC members will be open to the public for entry. While members of the public may send their entries in at any time, entries from the public will only be considered after Dec. 9.

Please be aware, while this is a club sponsored event, it is NOT an open club event. Everyone attending the event must have paid a dog/handler or audit/observer fee.

A block of rooms with a special discount rate will be held until Dec. 6 at the Red Roof Inn, 12525 Laurel Bowie Road, Laurel, MD 20708, phone (301) 498-8811. Red Roof Inn allows one dog per room and has no additional pet fee. Indicate you are with the “Greg Strong Handling Seminar” and block number B160GSHS12 when making your reservation. Rooms may be booked after this time, however the discount rate will not apply.
