The Lure-Coursing Fun Day will be held at the home of Pat and Pete White, 8045 Bentley Lane, Catlett, VA. (540-788-9889), Park parallel along the driveway. Event will be in fenced enclosure at the front of the gray house with green shutters.

The Lure-coursing field is COMPLETELY FENCED!

If there‘s been recent wet weather, your dog may get muddy – bring towels for him and waterproof shoes for you!

BRING LUNCH, CHAIRS, CRATES OR EXPENS, DISH/WATER FOR DOG. POP-UP TENTS AND GROUND MATS WOULD BE USEFUL. WEAR RUGGED CLOTHES!

LURE-COURSING WILL BE CANCELLED IF IT IS RAINING ON MAY 6, due to risk to dogs. If you are unsure, call Pat White (540-788- 9889) before leaving for Catlett.

I-66 West to exit 43A, Gainesville/Warrenton. You will exit onto US Route 29, South Proceed through Gainesville-commercial area of gas stations and retail- and several lights. About 4 miles from Gainesville, you will go through light at intersection of Route 15. Get in the left lane, cross over a small bridge, and enter Fauquier County. About 1/2 mile, turn left at the light at Vint Hill Road, Route 215. Travel approximately 3 miles, past horse farm and Vint Hill Farms Station. New residential on the right. There will be a flashing sign indicating a turn in the road and speed limit of 25 miles. Turn right on to Greenwich Road, between a church and a country store with a Citgo sign. Travel approximately 3 miles until you come to an intersection with Dumfries Road, Route 605. There is another country store at that intersection on the left. Turn right on Dumfries, go about 100 yards and take the next right onto Bentley Lane. Bentley Lane is a gravel road between 2 houses. Go SLOWLY down the gravel road a short distance and turn right onto paved driveway. Close the gate after you get through.

I- 66 east to Exit 28 Warrenton, Route 17. South on Route 17 for approximately 12 miles Take Bypass around Warrenton. Exit onto Route 29/15 North, towards Washington. Take a right at first light, Route 605, Dumfries Road Proceed as above to Bentley Lane

Take I-95 north. Exit onto US Route 17 towards Warrenton. Go approximately 25 miles to intersection of Route 17 and Routes 29/15. Turn right onto Routes 29/15 Take Route 17 Bypass around Warrenton Exit onto Routes 29/15 north, Washington At first light, turn right onto Dumfries Road. Follow directions as above All mileage is very approximate!
